Galveston Island Market Music
Live music is part of what makes market day feel like market day. Every market we book local performers to play for a crowd that's already there to browse, eat and stay a while — a genuinely good room for building an island following.
There are three of them to choose from, and they don't sound alike. Broadway is a daytime family crowd under the trees at Texas Heroes Monument Park. After Dark on the Strand is an evening set at Hendley Green and Saengerfest Park. Seaside puts you on Seawall Blvd. with the Gulf behind you.

Broadway
Texas Heroes Monument Park, 2504 Broadway St. First Saturday 10 AM–4 PM and Sunday 12–5 PM. Daytime, families, shade.
The Strand
Hendley Green & Saengerfest Park. Third Saturday 3–9 PM. An evening crowd downtown, later and louder.
The Seawall
1128 Seawall Blvd. Fourth Saturday and Sunday. Open air with the Gulf right behind the stage.
